‘Failure is proof that the desire wasn’t strong enough.’

Failure is the state or the condition of not meeting a desirable objective and may be viewed as the opposite of success. It is often argued that, luck of accomplishment is evidence of absence of aspiration of the person was not determined enough. So now the question arises is it apt to deem that person wasn’t determined enough solely based on failure. Let us ponder in detail.

I personally disagree with the statement since failure cannot be bound merely on determination but can have various other reasons. Firstly having determination does not guarantee success, other factors like skills, talent and intelligence also have an important role. Moreover some people may fail due to the lack of confidence in oneself. In addition various people may also not achieve success due to the lock of introspection, since they tend to ignore their past mistakes and not learn from them, this further inhibiting their improvement. Consequently failure can also be linked with discipline and sacrifice, since temptations does not promote learning and growth.

On the other hand, some people also believe that determination is a key to success, since it is the only thing a person lacks sometimes despite having potential talent. Determination can help create a focused mindset which can lead to the road of success.

In conclusion, it can be said that blaming weak determination for the cause of failure may be due to various other factors at play. Blaming one for lack of determination inspite of other reasons for failure can be often demotivating for the person thus one should understand and cooperate in order to improve the results.
