–Numbers: 10k (10,000), 5m (5 million)
–Symbols: → (leads to), ↑ (increase), ↓ (decrease)
–Common Words: gov (government), edu (education), ppl (people)
Focus on Keywords
Listen for keywords instead of trying to write everything. Names, dates, locations, numbers, and adjectives are often crucial.
Example: 🔊 “The lecture starts at 9:30 AM instead of 10:00 AM.”
Notes: Lec @ 9:30, not 10
